Birds > Trogons > Cuban Trogon Priotelus temnurus

info

Earlier, in Thailand and Sri Lanka I tried to find and photograph representatives of trogones, and it was surprising to me how common they were in some places in Cuba. Sometimes, walking through the Cuban forest, we followed the voice of the singing trogon, with hope that it chose a “right” well located branch. Many times the voices could be heard at a short distance. I recorded, of course, the voice of these birds and attached the sound to the gallery of the Cuban trogon, which is the national bird of Cuba. This is why I especially wanted to have pictures of this beautiful bird.
