Black-bellied sandgrouses in terms of size are similar to pigeons, although they are slightly bigger. They are very skittish. They were flying in a small flock, checking the area before landing. Once when I was quietly coming closer almost on my knees, surrounded by dried bushes, I managed to take a few pictures of this species that start the new gallery. Here are also the photos of flying birds that complete my report on my first encounter with this bird. Black-bellied sandgrouses , like ruddy shelducks or canarian houbaras bring an interesting variety to the gallery. Until now there was a green, colored background or the water environment, and here we have yellowish-brown desert landscape with dried vegetation. Looking at these photos you can almost touch the 30-degree heat...
