Birds > Passerine > Blyth's reed warbler Acrocephalus dumetorum

info

I have literally déjà vu from the photo session of the Blyth's reed warbler. Five years and eleven days ago, thanks to Robert, I photographed the Greenish warbler not far from the center of Poznań. This time, a few hundred meters from the place where I photographed it, on the Warta in Poznań, thanks to Robert, I also managed to record a voice and photograph the Blyth's reed warbler. Robert greetings and thanks !. Thanks to you, I was able to take pictures for the gallery of Blyth's reed warbler. A species that is increasingly observed in Poland. Pointing out the location of it is one thing, but you need some effort and determination to capture it. The quite active bird constantly changes its place and of course it is most likely to stay in the reeds from the water side, inaccessible to us. It is easier to record the voice of a pollen lamp than to take pictures of it. I arrived there a little before sunrise, and the male sang loudly all over the area. A recording is created before sunrise, which was possible due to the early time, because a few hours later the urbanized background would degrade the quality of the recording. As for the soundtrack, pictures could be needed to set up the gallery. Fortunately, the Blyth's reed warbler, was not very large and there was an attempt to take pictures from time to time. An attempt, because most of the time it was necessary to manually focus because the bird was always obscured by reeds. But I think it will not be different in the case of bushes. So I left pictures with reeds obscuring the bird because they reflect well its environment, at least in Poznań. The Blyth's reed warbler gallery, of course, is new because it is a 385 species of bird on my site that belongs to the Polish fauna!
