The story of Lesser Whitethroat’s gallery resembles that of the Eurasian Wigeon. I took a few pictures of Whitethroats when I was taking photos of the Northern Wheatear. The Lesser Whitethroat was to the right in the bushes, the Northern Wheatear on the wavebreakers to the left. It is difficult to be satisfied with the starting gallery of this quality. But this is just a beginning. The Lesser Whitethroat is a delicate bird. Its weight is up to a dozen gram and its wingspan is about 18 cm.
Last minute news 04-2014
I hope such changes, as occurred with the Lesser Whitethroat, will be made to every newly established gallery on the basis of two documentary photographs. During the week, I managed to do a whole series of much better images and to record the sound of the Lesser Whitethroat. The gallery has radically changed its appearance and the old pictures go to the archive, as a souvenir.
Last minutes news – 05-2014
I had been looking for Lesser Whitethroats by the sea, so I was surprised to find them in the back garden. Working in the garden in the hedge, I could notice some confusion. Of course, I stopped working and looked up what species of bird raised a fuss. It turned out that it was the Lesser Whitethroat, which apparently have a nest in three metre plumps, because I see them there every day. I added a few photos taken from such a such a short distance – I have never taken any better ones. They significantly change the gallery.
Last minute news - 04/2018
Quite unexpectedly, as a matter of fact accidentally I managed to take interesting pictures of a lesser whitethroat, which made a great variety in the gallery. Since the quality of the pictures is definitely better than of the previous ones, the gallery has been rebuilt.
