info

I managed to photograph this legless lizard when I was traversing the forest looking for moose. I wish I had had my 100mm macro with me, which I usually do. Anyway, I had to improvise with other lenses, but it didn’t last long. Unfortunately the slow worm “dived” into the moss, and it was impossible to find it and continue shooting. Well, the first pictures of this legless lizard are taken, but the thought about possible photos that could have been taken if only I had had the right lens,  makes me feel angry. You can’t carry everything with you, and this time what suffered because of this fact was the quality of pictures. And it’s all because of the lizard’s small size. Maybe it has a length of a few dozen centimeters (not exceeding 50 centimeters), but it’s thin, not to mention its small head, which is very difficult to capture, as you either need a huge zoom or significant close-up while taking a photo. This time I decided for the first option, at the expense of the quality of images.

The blindworm gallery has been waiting 7 years for these changes and they are so radical that it should be noted in the news. The blindworm is so filigree that the gallery should probably be in the macro section. It takes a lot of trial and determination to make an advanced tongue of the blindworm. Ejects it whenever it starts moving. This time there was plenty to choose from ...
