Birds > Passerine > House crow Corvus splendens

info

For the first time I saw a house crow in Sri Lanka. However, in Sri Lanka there were so many other species that I did not devote time to the crow and the gallery of this species was not created. Maybe it is better like this, because this time it was the other way round. In Egypt close to the hotel there were not many species, but among them house crows were found most commonly and were the most numerous. Apparently the birds knew when meals were served, they appeared in the vicinity of the canteen then. Tourists when eating outside had to be really watchful. When the meal was left for a moment without keeping an eye on, the birds always raided on a plate. The hardest part was taking "non-restaurant" photographs. At sunrise, the birds flocked to the place where camels took their night rest near the hotel and most of the pictures were created there.
