We saw Palmchats often, sometimes whole flocks of Palmchats flew over our heads. Once, thanks to such a flight, accidentally, it was possible to record the sound of a herd of Palmchat. Although there were many observations of Palmchats and they are a common species in the Dominican Republic, they were not entice, they were very shy and all the photos were taken during other photo sessions of the case. It's a pity, because as I wrote in the introductory text, it is the national bird of the Dominican Republic and always during my trips I try to capture as well as possible the national bird of the country in which I photograph and the introductory text next to it. Regardless of that, it is another bird endemic to the Dominican Republic. Well, it didn't work this time as well as with many other species, during which the distance was too far and meetings were not enough to build an interesting, diverse gallery.
