5 a.m., beautiful, sunny morning, by appearance, a common, quite wet meadow. Omnipresent dew on the grass. Surrounding, a dirt and an asphalt road, some buildings afar, silhouettes of some birds. Magic of this place is beginning to cast its charm as we get closer to the meadow. There is a whole colony of Black-tailed Godwits living there. Despite being estimated that there are couple of thousands of Black-tailed Godwits in Poland they are very hard to meet, not to mention photograph. Godwit is quite a big bird from a family of Sandpipers.

This commentary is a follow-up to the text about the Red-throated Loon of which I took more pictures than of the Red-throated Loon. It is a pity, because I like the couple of this species I came across a lot more than the Red-throated Loon. They are really beautiful and perfectly set in the context of the Scandinavian landscape. Unfortunately, the lake around which I was taking photos belonged to the mid-sized, if not to the large ones. The birds were swimming away and away and their contours were becoming less and less sharp until photographing them was pointless.

Being in Iguazú, even if you are not particularly interested in bird beauties, you should visit a place, which is unique on a global scale. Every taxi driver knows this place in  Iguazú and for a few dollars will take you to an amazing hummingbird garden. An admission ticket costs really little. The place itself is very plain. For many years, on a small area of a backgarden, its owner has been hanging water fountains for hummingbirds around.
