It is futile to seek for Nuthatch in our forests. He only occurs in Northern Amrecia. It is hard to describe my astonishment and joy, photographing the birds near Montreal, when I suddenly spotted the characteristic moves of the Nuthatch. He is my favorite in forests and parks, which I can always count on in places where no other birds appear. He did not let me down in Canada as well. Despite of the similar size and feeding habits they are very different when it comes to feathers (compare it yourself).

White-breasted Wood-Wren
Passerine
We photographed in several placed on Costa Rica. In such a small country it is sometimes a matter of several dozen kilometers and one has to do with completely different species. The transportation was the biggest problem. The roads in Costa Rica do not belong to good ones, and in order to drive 80 kilometers we had to spend 3 hours in a car. We reached another photography spot. A new thing for us there was a morning photography session by a not very large white sheet, next to which a bulb was left for the night turned on. The light attracted insects all night. Dostateczne |
White-breasted Woodswallow
Passerine
Although the pictures of white-breasted woodswallows seem to be documentary ones, I decided to add them to my website. Photos were taken in the city and initially I believed I could see swallows. And again a surprise, as those woodswallows belong to the family of birds occurring only in Australia and form a distinct family of birds (Artamidae). So, even though the pictures are uninteresting, there is made a mark of new species on my website. However in behavior they have much in common. Dokumentacyjne |

White-browed Scrubwren
Passerine
The White-browed Scrubwren I met twice: first in Sydney and the second time in the Blue Mountains. Its look and expression in its eyes are amazing. It lives in the bushes where searches for insects, fewer seeds. It occurs on the southern and eastern coast of Australia. It is about 13 centimeters long. Builds a nest of grass in rounded shape with a side tunnel entrance. Bardzo dobre |
