The Plumed Whistling Duck I managed to meet only once. Luckily the whole flock feeding on grass was more preoccupied with my presence than taking flight for their own safety. Thus this one meeting resulted in these images. Plumed whistling ducks watched and listened to the sound of camera shutter so I managed to take pictures for the gallery, moreover, in full 24-fame dimension. It can be perceived as a little monotonous but I prefer such situation to one-photo gallery. The Plumed Whistling Duck belongs to the Anseriformes, its weight does not exceed 1.4 kilogram with a wingspan of 0.9 meters.
