It is more commonly fund in Poland than the Slender-billed Gull, but it rarely nests in Poland. It is not as delicate and fragile as the gulls photographed in Turkey: the Slender-billed Gull and the Black-headed Gull. The weight of this bird is up to 1,5 kilograms and its wingspan is 1,5 metre. It is quite a big bird, but unfortunately it is not as commonly found as the other species of gulls mentioned above. Still, the several pictures taken initiate the gallery presenting this species.

Just like with the glaucous gull in Iceland, the pictures of the yellow-legged gull taken in Bulgaria enabled me to refine its gallery. I have also added the soundtrack of the gull's voice. The gallery has been rebuilt and ranked very good.

I cannot complain about the excess of birds in Tenerife. The gulls could only be found in the port. There were yellow-legged gulls and black-headed gulls inthere. I have added a few photos to the gallery.
