Yellow-throated miner
Passerine
It is a pity but only few photos and additionally in a flat scenery make a gallery of this species. At first I thought it was the Noisy Miner but after consultations the decision was made on such classification. Although it belongs to honeyeaters’ family, its main food are insects, to a lesser extent some nectar. Dokumentacyjne |

Yellow-throated Sandgrouse
Sandgrouse
There are many reasons to be satisfied after my returning from Tanzania. One of them are new galleries of sandgrouses. I remember how hard it was to photograph my first sandgrouses in Fuerteventura or Pallas's Sandgrouse in Mongolia, then taking photos of those birds in Tanzania was a piece of cake. Well, maybe not just like that, because you have to find them, but when driving all day, watching closely it is possible as you can see. It did not happen too often, but only when the birds were found they made an easy object for us to photograph at least for a moment. Bardzo dobre |

It is the "canary" of our forests and shrubs. Its yellowish coloration and sound certainly make this classification. It can be seen sitting in dense bushes, where it feels safe. It is similar to the size of a sparrow. Its weight is about 30 grams, with a wingspan of less than 30 centimeters. Bardzo dobre |
Yucatan Jay
Passerine
I always try to add the introduction text from a trip to the species of bird that is the national bird of the country in which I photographed, but not this time. First of all I did not see in Mexico the golden eagle, which is the national bird of this country. Mexico is quite a big country, more than 6 times bigger than Poland, and the population of golden eagles in Mexico is estimated to be about 600 pairs. Secondly, my photographing in Mexico was limited to the Yucatan Peninsula, with a two-day guide support and only from dawn to midday. Bardzo dobre |
