During the stay in South Africa I managed to photograph three species of plovers: the white-fronted plover, the Kittlitz's plover and the three-banded plover. This text is common to these three species. The white-fronted plover was photographed by the sea, or rather by the Indian Ocean. Taking photos of this bird was like shooting pictures of a common ringed plover on the Baltic Sea. Moving slowly it was possible to gradually reduce the distance from the bird. There were only a few small plovers, several sanderlings and a small flock of terns on the long and wide beach.

Tanzania XII / 17’ – introductory text – Kori bustard

Kerem, at the very beginning of our meeting I said that I would not leave Turkey without pictures of the Krüper's nuthatch. I had two reasons to say so. The first and most significant one was the fact that this is the bird which is visible in the logo of Kerem’s company. So to have it in my gallery is extremely important for me. The other issue, which isn’t less important than the first one, is the fact that this bird can be encountered only in this part of the world. We went to a beautiful park, in which there were old pine trees.
