Red-backed Shrike
Passerine
Although it is a lot smaller than the great grey shrike, it has much in common with this species when it comes to favorite menu and feeding habits. The red-backed shrike is in fact a carnivorous bird that eats insects, rodents and other birds. It stores excess food by means of impaling it on thorns of bushes so that it can come back to it later, when hungry. It is very difficult to photograph for two reasons. Bardzo dobre |

Red-biled gull
Charadriiformes
The Red-billed Gull quite commonly occurred in Australia and actually it would be placed in a list of Australian animals with the descriptions of pictures taken in Australia and in exchange oystercatchers should be moved to the specification of animals from New Zealand, because that was where I took most of photos of this species. It sounds quite funny but it really was like that and probably will not change. Dobre |

Red-billed Chough
Passerine
Red-billed choughs in Mongolia could be encountered almost exclusively near human settlements. Like black kites, they were quite common. But taking a photo of them was not so easy, as they would usually sit on roofs, pylons, and we know that it is not an interesting perspective to photograph. It was also difficult to record a clear soundtrack of these birds’ voices, as human noises or a tree sparrow’s sounds distorted the recording. Dobre |
