With the orange-flanked bush-robin I was only partially successful. I managed to take interesting pictures during two encounters with a female. Unfortunately the male did not appear in front of the lens. It’s a pity as the bird is a rare guest in Poland and it will be difficult to complete the gallery with some pictures of males.

The Oriental Megpie-Robin is the national bird of Bangladesh. It occurs south-east Asia. Because of its beautiful singing is cultivated in cages in south-east Asia.

If it hadn’t been for the white head of a male of this species we would probably have not spotted it.  While we were driving through the steppe, we noticed this bird several times. Taking pictures, however, was difficult. The bird kept a significant distance from us, and at an attempt to shorten the distance, it flew away so that we could not see it anymore.
