First pictures of the Noisy Miner were already taken in Sydney. Large, densely wooded park with a stream flowing through was a place where lorikeets and honeyeaters could be easily shot. They were flying in turns to flowers to feed on nectar. Noisy Miners occur in eastern Australia.

Northern Cardinal
Passerine
Another new species from my encounter with Canadian nature. Comparing to our conditions and our birds' coloring it seems quite exotic, because of his red feathers. Indeed, he only occurs in Northern America, only its eastern part, from southern Canada to Mexico inclusive. Presented pictures would have been even better if it wasn't for a certain young lady, who, delicately put, turned out to be an incompetent nature lover. Dostateczne |

Northern fulmar
Procellariiformes
Northern fulmars can be watched endlessly when flying. They are soaring beautifully. In Iceland I have seen many colonies of fulmars, their population there is estimated at one million pairs (2014). They are not skittish at all and it is as easy to shoot them at seaside as our black-headed gull, which in Poland is similarly common. Of course when we are talking about static images. It looks quite differently when you want to take a photo of the bird in flight. Moje ulubione, Bardzo dobre |
Northern gannet
Suliformes
I am glad I took first pictures of northern gannets, unluckily the gannet passed near only once and presented pictures do not reflect the charm of this bird. Let's hope that there will be an opportunity to take dynamic shots of gannets in flight when they dive in water hunting. Gannets belong to the family Pelecanidae. Their weight can reach up to 4 kilograms and a wingspan up to 1.8 meters. Moje ulubione, Bardzo dobre |
