Alphabetical list

It is a bird which I will be referring to many times if it lets me of course. It is hard to photograph an oriole, because its favorite places are crowns of the tress and it can be spotted in Poland only from May to September. My dream is to take a photo of a female and a male together. A yellow-black male and an olive-grey female would be a great matching. A trill of a male oriole is music to my ears.

There was no problem with recording the sound of the Ortolan Bunting. It was sitting on a dry twig of an old oak and you could record its song from the distance of some dozen metres. It really enjoys singing. Almost every time when it sat on the twig, it couldn’t help singing. It was more difficult, however, to take pictures. It required patience and it was necessary to wait until it chose to sit on a twig that was nearer the ground or until it starts eating around the bushes covered in moss.

Presented picture of a Normal Osprey was taken by accident, and as I assume, during their fly by rather the area where they reside. Photographing at breeding ponds I suddenly saw a large silouette of a predator bird over my head. I have managed to take a picture only to ascertain myself that it is an osprey at home. This large predator is extremely outnumbered. It is estimated that there are only couple of tens of couples in Poland. In itself it is a hard object of affection of many nature photographers, not only because of its rarity.
