Alphabetical list

This species should be added to the list of birds photographed on Fuertewentura (introductory text – Canarian Houbara), because that's where it was photographed. Unfortunately, there had been difficulties with identification and I decided not to delay the work related to the development of the whole expedition and return to it at a free moment. That moment came just in the fall, when I decided to ask OTOP (www.otop.org.pl) for help in identifying the species (Mrs. Danuta, Mr Christopher thank you and best regards).

The pictures of the puffin were obviously not taken in Poland. The way digital photography gives you vast possibilities, the same way cheap airlines encourage you to such „puffin escapades”. A round-trip ticket from Poznan to Edinburgh for a couple of zlotys sounds reasonable for a weekend trip. Then about one hour train ride to Berwick upon Tweed, and then, unfortunately by taxi, to a mini port, from which you can already see the islands inhabited by puffins, cormorants and guillemots. A short cruise and you can step onto an island that is a real bird paradise.

I had many photographic plans, dreams. One of them was to photograph 400 species of birds belonging to the fauna of Poland. And it happened! In Italy, I photographed the Audouin's Gull as the 400th species of bird included in the fauna of Poland.
