American Goldfinch
Passerine

It occurs exclusively in North America. Presented pictures were taken in the parks of Montreal, Canada close to their feeding spots. American Goldfinch is slightly smaller than a sparrow and it was so common that the pictures were taken without any masking. It’s a little harder for American Goldfinches with us, even by the feeders. Through winter 2012/13 I put couple of tens of kilograms of seeds in the feeder. Goldfinch never came…

Mammals

Presented squirrels were photographed around Montreal and Ottawa, Canada. They were hungry enough to let people take pictures of them in parks. Commentary for the gray and red squirrel is the same because of treating this gallery more like a curiosity rather than a gallery I would solicit to expand. Gray squirrels are bigger than the red ones. Weight of the gray squirrels can exceed 600 grams, when red ones are 100-300 grams.

Amur Falcon
Falconiformes

I have created a gallery of the Amur falcon although it was difficult to take good photos. Falcons were always skittish and kept a significant distance from us, which is a pity as they are very beautiful, little predators. Some magpies trying to penetrate their nest made it possible for me to record the sounds of Amur falcons.
